Sunday, September 10 in Puyallup: 9/11 9.11K & 5K Memorial Run/Walk On this poignant day, we remember and honor the heroes who gave their lives in the towers and on the planes during the tragic events of 9/11. The 9/11 9.11K & 5K Memorial Run/Walk is not just a race but a powerful tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Organized in support of the Central Pierce Professional Firefighter Union Local 726 Benevolent Fund, this event helps those in need in our community. This year, there's a special addition for those who want to run 9.11 miles on 9/11. It's a unique opportunity to pay your respects and challenge yourself in a meaningful way.

Saturday, September 16 in Auburn: Garage Sale 5K Ever missed out on the swag from previous events and wished you had a second chance to grab some cool memorabilia? The Garage Sale 5K in Auburn is your answer! It's the perfect opportunity to add to your collection while participating in a chip-timed 5K.

Saturday, October 7 in Puyallup: Puyallup Valley Half Marathon & 10K If you're up for a challenge and breathtaking scenery, mark your calendar for the 4th Annual Puyallup Valley Half Marathon & 10K. The Puyallup Valley is renowned for its beauty, featuring daffodil and strawberry fields, and on clear days, the majestic Mt. Rainier in all its glory. This USATF-certified course is fast and fairly flat, making it an ideal place to achieve a personal record (PR). Registration includes a shirt, medal, and swag bag to commemorate your accomplishment.

Saturday, October 14 in Puyallup: Orca Recovery Day Running can be about more than just physical health; it can also be a way to contribute to environmental conservation. Join the Orca Recovery Day event, a mild to moderately challenging trail 5K that combines fitness with education about Orcas and salmon restoration. Learn how these magnificent creatures thrive and survive and how you can play a part in their recovery. It's a race with a purpose, perfect for nature lovers and eco-conscious athletes.

Sunday, October 29 in Puyallup: Haunted Hustle 5K & 10K Halloween is just around the corner, and what better way to get into the spooky spirit than with the Haunted Hustle 5K & 10K in Puyallup? Start and finish at South Sound Running and come dressed for a fun and frightful experience. Be warned, though; the 10K is challenging, featuring a hill and a run through a cemetery. In contrast, the 5K is relatively flat and suitable for all skill levels. Space is limited, so don't miss your chance to join the first 200 registrants.
